Bentley Manual – Saab 900

Bentley manualThe Bentley manual is one comprehensive sucker and an essential volume for your Saab 900 garage library (what, you don’t have a library in your garage?).

This book covers all the 16 valve models from 1985 to 1993. It’s huge so you can frive your 900 up on to it and use it like a ramp to raise your car to do an oil change :-)

The Spirit of Saab

Spirit Of SaabRediculously expensive, but what a great set of Saab stories! This is one of those books you’ll think about purchasing, decline when you see the price, then hope and pray that someone gets it for you as a gift. It really is that good a read.

The stories go right back to Saab’s two-stroke days and all the funny things that happen when you’re building an international car company in a small industrial town in a small Scandinavian country. That set of circustances is always a candidate for building an independant spirit – The Spirit of Saab!

Saab 9-5 – A Personal Story, by Anders Tunberg

Saab 9-5Anders Tunberg was commissioned by Saab to write a number of books as new models were introduced. Consequently, he’ll have a few books featured in this shop.

These books are collectable not only for their in-depth text, but also for the wealth of images that are present. The author has virtually unlimited access, so there’s a number of stories and images in Tunberg’s books that you just won’t find anywhere else.

From Two Stroke to Turbo. by Anders Tunberg

Two StrokeThis is one that I haven’t read yet, but it’s come highly recommended. Written in 1980, it came very quickly after the introduction of the Saab Turbo.

One I’ll have to add to my to-do list.
