Saab 90
The Saab 90 was an automobile from Saab sold from 1985 to 1987. The Saab 90 was advertised as “prolongation of the Saab 99″ and for good reason. It was essentially just a Saab 99 from the B-pillar forward with the rear of the Saab 900 two-door.
The Saab 90 was available as a two door only, and it came with the Saab 99s 2.0L H engine, which produced 100 hp (73 kW). It was available with both four and a five-speed manual transmissions. Earlier years saw the 5-speed version having extra options available like a sunroof, with the 5-speed becoming the standard transmission by 1987.
There were 25378 Saab 90 models produced at their facility in Uusikaupunki, Finland. The final year’s production in 1987 made it 19 years for the Saab 99 as a model family.
