April T-shirt news

Still no offers in place for Spreadshirt Europe, but….

In March, Spreadshirt US were offering 25% off everything provided you had the right promotional code. This month the offer’s not quite so good, but if you like Baseball Tees then it’s worth checking out.

This month, Spreadshirt US are offering a whopping 21% off the price of all Baseball Tees, which means you can get a TS Baseball Tee like the one below for $21.65 instead of the usual $27.40.

As you can see, there’s a promotional code for this item that you have to enter on the order form when you order. The codes are as follows:

For US shoppers: FASTBALL

For Canadian shoppers: CADFASTBALL

Here’s a look at some of the TS Baseball Tees. To visit the North American shop, just click the banner above.

25% off shirts for North America

March 31 UPDATE:

I’m elevating this to the top again as it’s the final day of the 25% off sale for the US Spreadshirt store.

New classic 900 designs now available as well as the original Viggen and UrSaab designs.

——

I’ve just been checking out the Spreadshirt blog and found out that they have a Super Secret Sale on. The secret part is that they’re only publicising it on the Spreadshirt blog rather than on the rest of the site.

I assume it’s available to all comers that see it though.

So if if you’re ordering from the US, enter the code SECRETBLOGSALE when you make your purchase and you should get 25% off.

If you’re ordering from Canada, enter the code CADSECRETBLOGSALE when you check out and you should get the same discount.

Click here to visit the North America TS shop.

The Super Secret Sale ends March 31st.

C900 T-Shirts arrive for the US

I’m pleased to announce that Spreadshirt has finally approved the C900 design and that T-shirts featuring the classic 900 logo are now available in the US shop.

My thanks again to Jyri for making the c900 silhouette available and Ivan for formatting it to meet Spreadshirt’s printing standards.

There’s around 30 different C900 shirt combinations to choose from, all produced using Spreadshirt’s plot printing process to ensure the best possible result.

The majority of shirts use a flock print, which is a velvet-like finish that’s very precise and long lasting.

For the c900 only, I’ve also set up a couple of metallic gold and silver flex prints as well, which should look quite amazing.

25% off ends soon!

Until March 31st, the north American Spreadshirt store is offering 25% off the normal price. Just type in the code SECRETBLOGSALE if you’re in the US or CADSECRETBLOGSALE if you’re in Canada and the adjustment will be made automatically.

Hint: it works in Australia, too. A work colleague of mine purchased one yesterday.

New TS T-shirts for everyone!

Finally I’ve got the T-shirt situation sorted.

The new and improved Spreadshirt T-Shirts are now available in North America, Asia and in Europe.

Those of you in the US and Asia should check out the Trollhattan Saab North America Spreadshirt shop.

Those of you in Europe should check out the Trollhattan Saab Europe Spreadshirt shop.

The products differ slightly in each region, but are basically the same. At this point there’s no C900 image for the NA shop, but that should change soon.

These Spreadshirt Tees are an improvement over the Cafepress shirts in that the print should last a lot longer. My Cafepress polo shirt is still looking great after a dozen or so washes, but the digital transfer isn’t as precise on darker shirts. The dark shirts available from Spreadshirt use a completely different process and are precise and long-lasting.

Again, here’s Ivan looking quite happy with his new shirt (or is he happy because of his new Viggen….hmmmm).

The other advantage with Spreadshirt is the vast number of product and color combinations I can offer. Here’s a sample of basic tees that are available in both shops, but this is just the tip of the iceberg. There’s over 50 combinations in the US shop and around 30 in the European shop (at the time of writing).

Trollhattan Saab T-shirts for Europe

Ivan has finally received his new Viggen T-shirt from my new European supplier and he emailed me to let me know that it’s GOOD!

As you can see, Ivan’s a happy man. Not only is he wearing his new Trollhattan Viggen T-shirt – he’s wearing it in his new Viggen!!! Congratulations mate!

These shirts are made by Spreadshirt in their German production house. As you can see the print is quite vibrant. This is because they use a technique called ‘flock printing’. The print is heat treated, velvety soft and very durable.

I’ve created a number of products using three different designs:

1) The Viggen logo

2) The UrSaab logo

3) The C900 logo

All of them use either flock print or flex print – a similar method but slick and smooth rather than soft and velvety. Just as durable and vibrant.

As mentioned, these are produced in Germany in order to minimise freight costs for anyone from Europe who might want one. Spreadshirt also have an operation in the US, however they’re setup is a little different and Ivan and I are working on formatting the files we need to suit their specifications.

All products have been marked up by €3, which is about $5 Aussie. And in case anyone’s wondering, the Viggen shirt costs more because of the two colors used in the print.

There’s 29 different products so far, even a couple for the ladies. Here’s a sample…..
