Trollhattan Saab is supported by advertising and covers its costs without too many problems. It also takes a bucketload of time, however, and if you’ve appreciated the work that’s gone into the site over the last month, then please consider supporting the site with a donation.

The suggested donation is US$5, which equates to around 4.1 cents per entry.

Donations are made via Paypal, and you don’t need a Paypal account of your own to participate; all you need is one of those plastic credit card thingys. The site is secure and I don’t see any of your details.

Regardless of whether you donate or not, thanks for your support of the site via your repeated visits and contributions here.

Here’s to another month, and what an interesting month it should be!

Support your Saab blog – April 2008

At the start of each month, following publication of the monthly site stats, I’m offering the opportunity for those who are so inclined to contribute to the running costs and the investments into the site’s future.

There are no memberships, no pay-per-view and there’s no obligation. This is purely a voluntary thing.

The suggested amount is $5, which in April worked out to be around 2.7 cents per entry. You might be thinking “that’s not much” but remember, this will be a monthly exercise and I’d prefer giving people a chance to contribute consistently on a continual basis.

So, if you think the 184 articles we published here last month were worth something to you as a Saab owner and enthusiast, please consider making a donation. Last month, your donations helped me to reimburse Wulf for some of his costs in heading down to drive the Turbo X in souther Michigan. Donations also helped with performing two important site upgrades in April.

Donations are collected via Paypal.

You don’t need a Paypal account to participate, just a credit card. The transaction is secure and your details are not stored.

If you run a Saab-related business and would like to support Trollhattan Saab with an ad in the sidebar then please get in touch. Your support would be appreciated and you’ll be placed on the biggest, brightest and bestest Saab blog on the planet, with your ad seen by around 4,500 people per day. Some of them will even live nearby!

Forgive that brief moment of trumpet blowing, folks.

There may be two advertising slots coming up very soon. Ad space is limited to what you see now in the right sidebar, so send your mail along to swade@trollhattansaab.net and I’ll get back to you asap.

Support a Saab blog – February 08

Given that this was overtaken by the 9-1 BioHybrid, it’s time for one last run this month…..

Support your Saab bloggers….

UPDATE – As I made a mess of this last night and posted the wrong button, I though I’d post it again for the benefit of those who tried and missed. Also, as I wont be sending out thankyou notes, allow me to say a big hearty thankyou right now to all those who have chosen to participate.

Thanks to everyone else, too. The financial support will help the site, but it’s your visitation here in the first place, and in great numbers, that makes everything worthwhile and viable.

Well, something had to change around here……

Despite all my machinations from time to time, in my heart of hearts I’d like to keep this site going strong. And I’d like to do so without cluttering the site up with more advertising. So, at the prompting of a number of people via email, I’m going to commence a regular donation option here on Trollhattan Saab.

At the start of each month, following publication of the monthly site stats, I’ll be offering the opportunity for those who are so inclined to contribute to the cashflow.
