Trollhattan Saab has changed!
The site you're viewing now is the original Trollhattan Saab weblog, though it's now an archive only and no new material is posted here. As of February 2009, all new material is posted at our new site - Saabs United.
Please join us at Saabs United and get your daily Saab fix from Saab sources all around the world.

Posting will be light tonight as I’m off to the cinema (Gold Class – yes!) to see Gran Torino.

Should be good.

——

I think I’ve found a solution to my dilemma as to whether I sell my Alfa 33 or my 1985 Saab 900: I’ll let the market decide.

In short – put them both up for sale at the same time and see which one sells first!

——

Is it just me….

I can’t get any of the Saab Sweden, Saab International, SaabUSA, Saab GB or Saab Australia websites to load.

*gulp*

UPDATE – it’s all OK. Loading now. I was worried.

That’s not a solution, it’s a cop-out. It will give you the opportunity to blame the market if later on you regret the result.

Also the one which sells first / creates more interest would probably indicate the more desirable of the two. (You could use the amount of interest generated as a pointer as to which to keep.)

Nothing for it but to put your thinking cap on and decide which is right for you. Heart and head should be applied; cars can stir strong emotions.

Please forgive the lecture, but I’d prefer to live with my own decision rather than someone elses.

    from autocar.co.uk :

GM is working at top speed to complete “the base outline” of a Saab funding agreement with the Swedish government before the end of the month, GM Europe president, Carl-Peter Forster, has said.

    Don’t sell the Alfa, Swade!

I know you’re torn about selling the”extra” Saab, but you still NEED the Alfa to satisfy your racing demons. I want you to stay Racing Ready!

No problem with Safari and latest Flash plug-in on a Mac. You probably need to update Flash.
