December was an up-and-down month here at Trollhattan Saab.

It started in a blaze of glory and finished in quiet meditative period, which I think is pretty much how all things Saab are at the moment as we all wait to see what’s going to happen to the company.

There were 308,283 pages served here at Trollhattan Saab for the month of December, an average of 9,945 pages served per day. As you can see from the graph, though, those pages weren’t distributed as evenly as an ‘average’ figure might suggest. That high point at the start of the month (GM’s announcement of a strategic review at Saab) is very high point, indeed, and the lows at the end of the month are about 60% of normal traffic here, which is OK given the holiday period we’re in.

I’m pleased to say that whilst the pageviews were down toward the end of the month, there were still a stable number of people visiting, it was just that they were viewing a smaller number of pages per visit.

These 308,000 pages were served to 50,177 unique visitors during the month, so there’s a bunch of you reading this!!

The United States was once again the country with most visitors here, with California the state with the most visitors. Greetings to everyone in Santa Barbara

The number of visits from Sweden was down this month, but that’s OK. The good people of Trollhattan were still tuning in:

Whilst the numbers in Sweden were down, the good news is that I got a foot in the door of the hard to crack Ugandan market, with this visitor lighting up Kampala this month.

Onwards and upwards for another month. January is upon us and it’s sure to be an interesting one. There’s the Detroit Motor Show coming up in a matter of just days (it’s hard to believe it’s been a year since I was there in person) and there’s going to be plenty of other stuff to keep things interesting too.

Why not show the whole world.
It would be quite entertaining to see where the “ususal suspects” live….

I am again visiting Baku (now with my newly wed wife) and I see no SAABs on the road here. Even a few days ago when it snowed up quite good here and there were only a handful cars on the road (how I laughed and pointed as the big SUVs struggled to keep traction on at least one wheel going no faster than 10 kph)…

Anyway… Are there someone from Baku (other than me) visiting this site?

    Swade,

Have you compiled the statistics for the whole of 2008?

    Can’t do that, ctm. Unfortunate.

I’ve only had this stats package running for part of the year. I had a different one earlier in the year and from my experience, no 2 packages work the same, even if they use the same terminology. Also, there was a gap mid-year with no stats at all.

I can work on those other requests tomorrow. The maps are fun.
