Thanks to those who’ve let us know in comments that the 1995 1997 Saab 900 SE Pikes Peak being auctioned by Barrett Jackson has in fact been sold!
The final price was US$8,470.
I believe I know one of the parties interested in acquiring this car and I’ve written to them to see if they were the lucky buyer.
This car was one of the GM Heritage Collection vehicles being offered at the Barrett Jackson sale in Arizona.
It was the only Saab amongst a large number of GM Heritage vehicles that are being sold over the next few days.

One happy buyer got at a very nice price.
Let us hope that “Pekka” (Per Eklund) bought it and it will be a part of his Automobile Museum in Arvika, Sweden.

My friend sent me a picture of this earlier. I told him GM was selling it and he said yea, they just started selling the heritage collection cars today. He is working down there.

Somebody got a good deal. That’s only a bit more than market value for one that been someone’s daily driver.
