Gregg Z lives in Germany and he tells me that Cadillac sightings on the street are pretty rare in his neck of the woods. In fact, they’re so rare that right now the score rests at Cadillac: 1, and ultra rare Porsche Panamera mule: 1.
Gregg did manage to spot this Cadillac CTS and a Cadillac wagon at a local Kroymans dealership, though. That situation’s about to get rare, too, with Kroymans pulling the plug on Cadillac a few weeks ago.
He sent through a couple of images. Here’s their original vehicle. I think the wording means “The Discovery”
Naturally, in the spirit of “what’s good for Cadillac is good for GM (and therefore, Saab)” I couldn’t help but try to improve the marketing messages that Kroymans were painting on the car in an effort to move the metal.
Here are my efforts, which Kroymans are free to employee with no royalty payable should the cars end up selling.

It’s petty, I know.
But it was so much fun…….

Not a chance, Tim. I’ll celebrate its demise as loudly as they celebrate its like.
The Kroymans departure isn’t the end of Caddy in Europe. GM will just have to shoulder more of the burden themselves, which is possibly even more detrimental to Saab.
Just another reason…..

Attaboy… The Caddy-spirit still burning.
What’s gonna happen with Cadillac, US Chevrolet and Hummer in Europe? As I understand it, GM can’t force dealerships they don’t own to carry the brands. And I find it hard to believe that dealerships will line up to carry them. January-October this year only 2,173 Cadillacs were sold in Europe…

GM can sell the big American Cadillacs in eastern Europe and leave the rest of us alone.
