Thought I'd do some searching and found this:
Book Printing in China, www.diyausa.com

But then I read their sales pitch blurb: "Half cost, Very High Qaulity Quick Delivery than You Thought"

Ouch, never mind.

Seriously, some alpaca breeders have small, very high quality glossy advertising books printed, even hardback. I assume they use a minimum cost printing house. If I can get more info, I'll pass it along.

I remember in the first post about the book that you wrote that the entries in the Saab Pride of Ownership competition would be contacted so you could get the consent to include them in the book. I entered my Saab in that competition but haven't heard from you about this book. Should I assume that my Saab-love isn't suitable for the book?
On the other hand, if you would like to include my Saab, then I would be pleased to see it on print and I'm ready to email a new picture and a revised description of my love to my Saab.

I haven't got to the emailing stage, yet, Arild. Please feel free to send through your revised writing, though, to swade99@gmail.com - SW

I've been so busy with school :( And then my car got hit by a ladder on the highway. It was on the highway in a different lane, the guy just hit and sent it flying into my car. I was boxed in and couldn't avoid it :( So now I have a big 'ol ding on my driver rear door. Sad times.

What was the original price? I'd love to have a book like this for the coffee table.

My wife had a really good experience with Blurb - http://blurb.com - she made a photo journal of a trip to Thailand. Depending on the format and number of pages, their prices are pretty reasonable for small print runs.

Blurb is the one I've been looking at, but I'm not sure I can produce what I'd like in a cost effective manner there - will have to look at it some more.

Yeah, I always thought that original price sounded to good to be true. I'd be willing to pay more, but of course, the lower, the better.
