One of the Hirsch guys has a Flickr account and there’s some fantastic Hirsch stuff there. Just today, he loaded up these great detail photos of the 2009 Saab 9-3 Hirsch edition.
This is what every Saab 9-3 Aero should be. In fact, if Hirsch want to take Saab off GM’s hands, I’d be all for it. The minnow swallowing the whale.

Magnificent. It’s the interior stuff that the Saab 9-3 really needs and the Hirsch guys have that all sewn up.

I’m speachless.
Maybe whoever buys Saab can make Hirsch an OEM supplier for interior and exterior trim!
I’m still not keen on the 9-3 SS, but that one I could live with.
Wow. This should be standard on the Aero.
I usually don’t care for carbon fiber trim, but that trim around the shifter looks pretty good. Just get rid of the mascara around the headlights and we’d have a winner!
How every Saab should come. Looks great!
Perfect, it all should be stock! Why is Hirsch not in the U.S. yet ????
Now that’s the 300hp looker with the fancy leather interior that ALL 9-3 Aero’s should be. I’m not a fan of the wheels though, Saab Europe has some 18′s that I think would do the job just a little bit better.
That looks super – i cant rate Hirsch products highly enough!
I reckon Hirsch should have a go at some rear LED tail lights (ala the Audi A6). The back end of the 93 really doesnt do the new front end any justice IMHO.
I´ll say it again.. The Fiat group + Saab = Love. And Hirsch should stick around for the ride as Saabs own “M”.
And just think of all the racing interest the italians have. A Saab back in the WRC owned by the italians and developed in coop between Saab/Alfa and Hirsch would be something special. And together with Fiat money, top drivers could be driving the car. Yummy
I would love to own a Maserati GT based Saab Aero-X sprinkled with some extra Hirsch TLC. I´ll just have to win some millions.
Ok..I´m blabbering.. But what the h
JWlanky, spot on – the rear lens looks outdated compared to the front (similar issues with the 9-5). If the 9-3 had a bit more of this treatment, I wouldn’t be saying goodbye to mine next month.
My new 300c is a great drive btw – so big, but so so practical – 4 passengers, dog, weekend luggage, two toboggans for sand duning and still room to spare. My 9-3SS would have struggled with all that.
Plus, why can a 3.0 6cylinder get 30mpg when my 1.9 4cyclinder only scraped 37mpg? Saab, you have work to do before I return, but in the current circumstances I fear there is no prospect of improvement in build or specs.
I think I will change my 9-3ss 2.0t Nordic stage2, for one of these…….its just awesome!!!
The last week at the delaer, they received the OEM catalogs from Hirsch.

I took a look at the flickr account: this “facett”: what is it ? what is the relation with the sonetts ? Looks sleek and aerodynamic, hints of a lotus elan (1) in the design, yet lower and at the roofline more fragile.
Any trollhattansaabnet visitor knows more about this ?
Wow. I saw similar on the Hirsch site and was considering sending the Pics to Saab USA with a giant PLEASE!!!! No wonder the companies are failing – seems mediocre is good enough for the best of them while the rest of us have to actually THINK about what we are doing!
