"But it might have a weight limit–no gold bricks."

Bruce, what are you suggesting, "The Swedish Job"?

The boot/trunk is a slide-out tray, like an under-bed roll-out drawer. No lid. Nice--one can reach all corners from 3 sides! But it might have a weight limit--no gold bricks. The video of Adams also mentions that it has a small-items section below it. B

The boot looks tiny in that second video. Not much higher than a laptop case.
I guess I will have to buy flat-pack groceries from now on.

Nice concept.
I'm just still curious about the opening system for the roof. Mystery not revealed.

Today it popped up at the global site.
But then the 9-3 Convertible Air Edition caught my attention.
So it is true, all we get are some facelifts & alloys. In this case convertible buyers can order the rest of the set Turbo-X-alloys that were produced to much, while customers hesitated to buy the Turbo-X.
I like those alloys, but this seems to be a big marketing disaster.
Come on saab, the 9X Air wasn't properly announced and the 9-3 Convertible Air Edition is already there.
Maybe in Chile they have bad timing, which I can forgive, but this is complete nonsense.

Saab, please get this 9-4X & 9X B-H ready for production instead of playing games on the net.

I'm just wondering, if there are no shots from the back while the canopy is closed - it seems like Saab doesn't like that part, right? Anyway: Great design! The car of my dreams #2 (right after AeroX ;-)).

A couple of interesting points in the SAABhuy story. First, it states the transmission is a 6-speed sequential with automatic clutch. If true, that's something new. Any truth to that? And the dimensions for the 9-X are L4427 and W1826 mm. The current 9-3 (Sedan) is L4646 and W 1753. So the 9-X is noticeably shorter (181 mm or about 7 inches), but a bit wider (73 mm or almost 3 inches). The handling should be phenomenal, and interior room (at least in the front) perceptably larger. Are we looking at the new, smaller 9-3? . . . and not a 9-1 (that, in turn, could inexpensively be a tweaked Astra, the way the Subie was adapted?--nearly instant hatch at the price point where it is likely most likely to sell while the rest of the line moves further up-market, even above Opel/Saturn, where profit margins are more secure and residual and resale values can be strengthened). I'm impressed.
