Park a Peugeot for playtime

I know that some of our European visitors don’t like them so much, but I’m quite fond of Peugeots. I have great memories of many cross-Melbourne commutes in a friend’s 504 when I was a younger lad, a car which was a far cry from the 407 pictured here (or was it a 405? Damn these confusing numerical nomenclatures!!! Update – nah, it was a 504, something like this one – eek!!!).

It’s amazing how good memories can linger and create a favourable impression of a car, don’t you think? Note to self: make sure the experiences anyone has with my Saabs are really good experiences…..

Anyway, I’m digressing.

A work colleague just sent me a link to this online game that’s been created by Peugeot. It’s quite addictive. I’ve only had a few tries so far this morning and got as far as the dog before I figured I’d better get this up on the site quickly, lest the whole morning be taken up with it.

Click to play Peugeot 107 Parking Perfection.

UPDATE – it seems “the dog” is the final stage. I just finished the total course in a time of 88.9 seconds. That was my first completion, so it could probably be trimmed a bit. Post your times in comments :-)

Note to Saab – this is a great example of a simple little viral that’s making its rounds and exposing a brand. Maybe it’s time for something new?

Saab have previously had a few online adventures, too, with the Race Against Time being the most prolific. There was also the mobile phone app – the Saab BioPower Challenge – that surfaced last year.

  1. 28.2 but I have to admit having wasted several hours on this game a year or so ago. The trick is to do everything in about 3 quick moves.

  2. I rather practice parking with our new 207. Boy, have the French done a mighty fine little hatch. It’s more refined (noise and suspension) than my 2003 9-3SS…

  3. I think the 207SW is a cool car…
I think people will diagree but for those who don’t need a big car but need just that little be more versatility a 207 estate is just the ticket..

  4. Wow, that’s addicting. I just spent the last 20-25 minutes playing. I got it down to 25.5 in a stroke of four near-perfect parks in a row. My previous best was about 35.

    Good times.

  5. After lunch, and getting some work done (yeah, I know…), I came back with fresh fingers… 21.1 seconds. I don’t know if I can beat it.
