This just in from Jan-Willem Vester over at Saab USA HQ.
Bloomberg has managed to pull out just about every hackneyed Swedish / Saab reference in the book while delivering a very forgettable, shallow review of the TurboX. It’s almost like Mr. Harper, the author, wrote the article to fill it with cute phrases rather than to give anyone a realistic take on the TurboX.
Read at your own risk.
A Saab with uncomfortable seats – did he even drive the car? What a freak!
Exactly. I am willing to let people have opinions, even opinions I don’t agree with, but when he cited the seats as uncomfortable I new we had a problem.
Wow. Guys, I had the same thought. However, he clearly says that he drove the car in New England for the weekend. It’s hard to call someone a liar, but I’m with you — did he really drive the car? Junk.
WTF is wrong with the shape of his butt?
Ah yes, I read this a couple of days ago.
I thoughts entirely; Jason Harper must be over 7′ tall with a 26″ inside leg. How the man can walk without falling over is beyond me but having such a large torso is the only way he can justify hitting his head off the roof yet praise the rear seating capacity.
I know MAC books are very user friendly but I didn’t realise even an orangutan could operate one. Which is another explanation for the drivel that Bloomberg felt fit to publish.
As soon as the first ABBA reference appears in a Saab review you know the authors credibility has been compromised. If I were trying to be polite I’d say the review was less than insightful and a disservice to Saab. In this case I’d have to say the author is suffering from complete ossification of the cranial aperture. This guy couldn’t tell a Rembrandt from the top of a biscuit box.
Guys, it’s Bloomberg. If they had a clue, they’d be writing for somebody else. Their financial advice is for shite, why would you suspect that they have a clue about anything else?
/smack forehead.
Uncomfortable seats?! I am speechless. Maybe his idea of comfortable seats is a wooden park bench…
On something different that has been discussed on this site in the past….
Saab in Canada now lowered their priced by 6K or so after a few months of terrible sales. The 9-3 now starts at $29950…
maybe he suffers from hemorrhoids. that just might explain it. maybe.
cj, where did you hear about the Canada price reductions? This could definitely make me haed to my local dealer. Whats the catch?
Was an half page add in the wheels section in toronto star this saturday.
