Turbo X drive day - some more pix

Whilst Eggs n Grits has provided plenty of good imagery in his posts from the Turbo X drive in Boston this week, there’s also been a few excellent images pop up on Flickr and a couple of as-yet unseen images in my inbox, too.

Just to give you an idea of how these drive days start off, here’s a few shots of the gathered press getting an earful from Steve Shannon:

That Turbo X SportCombi is simply a gorgeous car. I may have to upgrade one day. I wonder how many SportCombi’s got the Turbo X treatment?

Hit the Zanamerva link above it, JM, and you’ll see what he’s loaded onto Flickr. Hopefully there’ll be a large version there that you can access. I’ve just grabbed the small version to share here, pointing to his page, as he does assert copyright over the material.

I for one cannot understand what the thing is about parking cars on grass for taking photos??
You get that green tint and reflections everywhere which makes most cars look like they’re suffering from motion sickness…
