Sunday Saab photos

It’s spring in the north so the cars are out and getting photographed. I’ve had just too many come in to not post them here.

Wulf has taken his 9-5 Wagon out for a photo shoot. High quality stuff. There’s a full set of shots here for you to peruse and there’s some wallpaper sized versions of a couple of them here. Magnificent!

ctm’s also been out communing with nature. Here’s his 9-3 getting all arty with a rapeseed plantation in the background:

This rather special looking Saab 95 was spotted by the Jalopniks as part of their Down On The Street daily feature.

Some guys from the Saab Turbo Club of Sweden scored some still shots of the Saab 9-4x concept and the Saab 9-X BioHybrid during their recent outing in Trollhattan. Click here and here to view them.

Wow! I love those pictures of the 9-x and 9-4x. I really wish the 9-4x would be hitting the market sooner, as I think we would purchase it (we are looking at buying something come this December/January.

I currently have a 2004 9-3 Aero…and that 9-x is looking mighty fine to purchase once I graduate college (well gift).

That picture of the Turbo X’s is as close as it comes to automotive orgy for me. :D

Are those Turbo-Xs waiting to be picked up, or are they unsold models?

They’re mostly Saab USA’s. See the thread on Saab Central.

The 95 was actually part of DOTS Bonus Edition, which is basically the same as DOTS, but the picture was taken somewhere other than Alameda, CA. That 95 was found in San Francisco. The two-tone paint is very cool. The Lancia is pretty neat too, reminds me of a Corvair.

Wulf, those Cherry trees are lookin’ good!! I hope there’s a great yield from the crop this year! Maybe I;ll see ya up there around the Fourth and maybe a lil Cherry Fest.

Boston truly IS the home for Saab in North America with that many Turbo X’s. Obviously, New Englanders have good taste - and a lot of money.

Andrew, I usually stay out of town during cherry fest except for the air show. The Blue Angels are going to be back this year and their show should not be missed. Wave if you see a silver Aero zipping around. :)
