Trollhattan Saab has changed!
The site you're viewing now is the original Trollhattan Saab weblog, though it's now an archive only and no new material is posted here. As of February 2009, all new material is posted at our new site - Saabs United.
Please join us at Saabs United and get your daily Saab fix from Saab sources all around the world.

I’m heading to northern Tassie for a few days of work. Posting will be lighter than usual as a result and my ability to answer emails will be quite restricted, so thanks in advance for your patience.

Enjoy!

These were the days……Factory tuning with all sorts of stuff available. Magnificent.

I found this on the web a little while ago and thought I’d save it for posterity. The brochure was on one of those geocities things that comes and goes and is rarely seen. They’re not easily read due to the small nature of the print, but great fun nonetheless.

There’s plenty more where they came from. A full 16 page booklet, in fact!

    That engine is pretty beastly-looking.

If you want a high-resolution copy, or want to see close-up detail, I have 2520×3120 scans here. Scroll down to 78rallyp01.jpg which is the first page.
You might also be interested in a 20 page special on the 1962 Monte Carlo rally (1024×1487). If nothing else, take a look at the front cover. Scroll down to 62MonteCarloSpecial_01.jpg.

Are those “hockey stick” decals available from swedparts?
