More Pics from the Saab TurboX Media Drive
Finally, I’ve had a chance to edit and post some of the better pictures of my road car — a Saab TurboX SportCombi equipped with a six-speed manual transmission. Beautiful drive.
Once again, some of my photography efforts were thwarted by the blazing midday sun, and I’m certainly no professional behind the camera. Software helps a little, but I simply don’t have the practice and experience to hone my skills. My apologies.
The return of the turbo gauge! Please, Saab, bring it back! (And, would it kill anyone to put an actual voltmeter on a car? I’ve wanted one on every car I’ve ever owned.)

More pics after the break…
LOL! You can tell I’m a Saab owner — take a look at the gear shift. It’s in the reverse position for my 900 and 9-5, even though on this car, it’s in sixth!

These pictures show the different rear body work and the “rhombic” exhaust openings on the TurboX.

I really hope that GM got one of these Turbo Xs, if not both variants, to the Top Gear producers for an episode and a run with the Stig!!
Tal: YES!!! I want to see them try to upset it. It’s very hard to do, you know.
Hate to flog a dead horse but the lack of guages thing is straight out of the GM manual.
Craig: It’s out of the manual used by all auto manufacturers, it seems. Unfortunate.
