20% off Saab T-shirts for Father’s Day
I’ve just heard that Spreadshirt (our T-shirt producer) are having a father’s day sale in the US shop until June 9th.
If you’re interested in one of our groovy Saab T-shirts (including the new Turbo X shirts), then this would be an opportune time to grab one and get 20% off the asking price. The discount is available on purchases over $20 in value and applies to the US store only.
Sorry ladies, it’s men’s gear only. You’ll have to go all Shania Twain with man-shirts if you want to take advantage.
The discount works on a coupon system. All you need to do is enter the coupon code, below, when you place your order.
- If you’re ordering from the United States, the coupon code is DAD4
If you’re ordering from Canada, the coupon code is CADDAD4
If you’re ordering from elsewhere, try your luck with the US code and see how you go. No guarantees, but I just used it from Australia and it was fine.
These spreadshirt T-shirts are a great quality product, and there’s a huge range of garments and designs available, including a new shirt that’s 55% hemp and 45% organic cotton for you greenies out there.

I just ordered a dark blue polo shirt with a griffin logo on the front and www.trollhattansaab.net on the back - all using the DIY shop linked above. I got the shirt and delivery to Australia for under US$30 (in total) by using the coupon code for a $4 discount.
Not bad, that.

UPDATE - Simon’s noted in comments that the shipping cost seems to be expensive. The first option that Spreadshirt offers for shipping is their priority delivery system, which will get the shirt to you faster etc etc. This is an expensive option.
Just under that option, there should be an option for USPS shipping. It takes a little longer, but for us Aussies, it’s a lot cheaper (around $12 instead of $30 for the fast option). They say it takes up to 6 weeks this way, but the shirt I ordered last year arrived in three or four weeks.

I’d buy one, but the shipping to Australia is kind of expensive…
When it costs more to ship than to purchase, I get a bit put off.
Stuff it in a PostPak and send it on a boat. Shouldn’t cost more than a tenner. $30’s a bit much.
My shipping was $12.
The first shipping option they give you is some sort of priority fast shipping or something. That’s the expensive one. There’s another option there for USPS shipping and that’s the cheaper option. My shirt was $17 and my postage was $12 - got it all for under $30.
Just ordered two for us, came to $44.00 delivered. So the discount works for the UK too.
Talking again of the T - X (shades of T Rex?), I think I have now recognised the exhaust note(s) -plural.
It is a Lycoming 6 cylinder turbo, aircraft engine!
Heard one start up from cold at the weekend and thought, hang on, that sounds like a Turbo X….
Or can anyone ident another similar harmonic?
Swade, just re-looked at my order and I got 20% of the whole lot, a male shirt and a female shirt! Robin
Excellent stuff, Robin. They said just men’s garments in the publicity for it, but it makes sense that they’d apply it to everything. Simpler on the software that way.
I ordered mine yesterday and got an email today saying it’s been made and dispatched!
Mine have been done and sent too, now thats less than 12 hours. Now we will see how slow, slow post is.
