There’s something wrong with this picture….
If you’re familiar with the service then I’m sure you’ll recognise where this image has come from straight away. They don’t all look the same, but there’s that generic feel to it that tells you it could only be from Ebay……
This Turbo X is on the British Ebay site. It’s been placed there by Robert Bowett Saab in Leeds. It’s a classified advert rather than an auction so I guess that’s a little more dignified than seeing it struggle upwards from 15K or something.
I guess it’s exposing it to a wider audience, but something just feels a little icky about it. I guess we should get used to it though, as I’m sure there’ll be a few US dealers that will promote it this way, too, when the cars arrive there.

They’re going to have a hard time selling a LHD Turbo X in the U.K.
This is from a swedish buy and sell site http://www.blocket.se/vi/15961269.htm?ca=10_s&last=1
Engine Size:
1,988 cc
Why would a dealer be selling a car on Ebay?
Engine Size 1,988 cc what is this woad it not be Engine Type: 2.8L V-6-cylinder high-output turbo
Displacement (cu in / cc): 170 / 2792????
Doesnt look like its an actually up for Bid; more like an advertisement on Ebay.
Blocket.se is a Sell/Buy site. Many dealers advertize on Blocket since the fee is cheap and the ad gets alot of viewers. (Win/win)
What surprises me is the 503.600 SEK they ask for it.. Thats more than PLUS 90.000 of the original salesprice. I know that the Porsche 959 Gained in value directly after launch.. But the Turbo X?.. If thats the case then that´s just wonderful! Or did they just get i wrong?
