Ok, the V70 is a new model, but still.. What the heck is wrong with Swedish carbuyers?
The V70 has got 145hp and a silly 190Nm of torque. Yepp thats right.. 190Nm. Auto Motor and Sport, Swedish edition, suggest that clients take a testdrive with the family before maybe buying.. The acceleration is so week it´s dangerous to try to overtake a truck.

The V70F price from 262900 SEK (145hp, 190Nm). The 9-5 SC 2,3t BP price from 275 900 SEK(210hp, 310Nm) Fuelconsumption is equal between the two. Saab would theoreticaly have a lower consumption on highway since the car does not have to strugle when overtaking.

The V70 will get a Volvo 2,5 litre 5 cylinder Flexfuel turbo engine rated at 200hp this fall.. But Saab will then show it´s new 9-5. Wonder what lurks under the hood of that car when it comes to BioPower engines?
