Spring is in the air - Saab Netherlands
I really wanted to get a Dutch Oven joke in there somewhere, but the story just doesn’t fit.
Saab Netherlands are launching the Lynx Yellow Saab 9-3 Convertible with a Spring tour around Holland. There’s no mention of it, but i think Margreet is skipping this one
Here’s a translation of the press release as sent in by Wulf:
——
The Netherlands and Sweden look forward to Spring because the Spring sun brings everything to life. Saab starts Spring with the Saab Cabriolet Spring Tour.
Saab’s promotional team is touring through The Netherlands with the Saab 9-3 Cabriolet Spring Edition, the perfect car for Spring. They will visit 20 different cities by land and 3 by water. They will stop at many locations to hand out sun flowers to celebrate summer.
The tour starts on March 28th and will last for 2 weeks, visiting the cities Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Maastricht and many others. The complete schedule can be found at www.saabspringisintheair.nl.
This special website was developed to support the tour. The map shows all cities and tour dates. You will also find dining, shopping and other tips. And there will be updates with tour pictures of the places that have already been visited. There will also be many tips for visitors to get in the Spring mood like Swedish food, alcohol-free cocktails, Spring music and much more.

Saabspringisintheairdotnl is a nice refreshing site. They even have a nice assortiment of cocktails, links towards trendy and cosy places like restaurants & shops. That’s much cooler than Margreet.
5th of april in maastricht looks interesting (Hope the thing doesn’t sink, the river Meuse is going strongly), it is just around the corner for me, but don’t know if i can make it.
I got my hands for just a month on something else than a saab, the only things in common with the saab are the 4 places - more or less - and the open air to enjoy (the engine is somewhere deep in the back and it doesn’t have fwd … if it wasn’t out of my budget, I might get unfaitfull towards the saab-brand).
I can’t wait to see the Saffron Yellow convertibles here in Oz. We have two arriving any day now
“alcohol-free cocktails”… Eeeehh???
Does not sound that Swedish to me beeing a Swede.. Absoult Vodka/ Country of Sweden.
