More Turbo X deliveries
This isn’t the first Turbo X delivery, but it’s one that we’ve been following for a while now, and it may be the first RHD version we’ve seen (which is important for ‘right drivers’
).
The Turbo X you see before you will be delivered this week to David R, who provided us with some good and bad stories along the way. All of those stories are in the past now - what’s in the future is a ride that no other Saab has ever delivered.
I really love this time when we finally see something coming to fruition. I’ve been writing about a rumoured vehicle called the Black Turbo since late 2006 or early 2007 (I forget which one). Finally, after all the rumours, the stories, the enquiries, the hopes and the occasional letdowns, after all the press reports, car shows, road tests and speculations - finally, they’re being delivered to real people.
There’s something very satisfying about that.

This is from wheels.ca announcing the Canadian pricing for the TurboX, although I haven’t see one yet at a dealership in Canada.
