BTW, that Buick reminds me of the 1950 Chevrolet 'vert that Steve McQueen drove in "The Hunter". Same color and around the same year as the Buick. Good flick. All Steve McQueen flicks have great cars in them.

Ken: You never know until you try.

Jeff: LOL -- I was thinking the exact same thing was I was writing the post!! I think that I convinced myself that the GTO was in an "unobtainable" class of cars and thus not eligible for ownership, but that Buick is simply cool as all get out. The color is the perfect color for that car, which is why it's on the picture, I suppose!!

I'm telling you, watch the Mecum auctions on television, you'll be hooked.

I am sure that there are a lot of people in GM who would want to do good things for Saab, but on the other hand I am afraid too much power is with men in black = people counting beans.
For the site mentioned here, it is not going to be read by the right people at GM.

Just saw this awesome review of the Turbo X.

It is very comprehensive and gives lap times of the Turbo X vs M3, A4 & STI

I'm absolutely sure that I'm the only regular on this site that would rather have that Buick than the Viggen.

Thanks for the link Eggs, and the viewpoint on GM. Like you, I had been driving GM vehicles up until I go my 9-3 last year. From my perspective, the 9-3 is that car GM could never build.

Lucky for GM that Saab built it for them.

At any rate, hopefully some of the enthusiasm from this site will benefit Saab on that one.
