Are you on the TS map?

A lot of you have signed on to the Trollhattan Saab map, but there’s a lot that haven’t.

Why sign on to the map? Well, if you’re a regular here who I’ve come to know and there’s a Saab event on near you, I might be able to get you a pass to attend and participate in that event. It might be a motorshow like the recent NY Auto Show that John D covered, or an event like the 60th Anniversary event that 1985 Gripen attended last year.

For example, if you lived right in the middle of the map section shown below, or in close proximity, there might be a great event that you’d love to attend coming up in the next few weeks. Or days.

So, sign up to the TS map. It’s fun. you can check out who’s nearby and make your mark on Planet Saab. It might even get you driving or looking at some things before everyone else.

——

Please note, just being in proximity doesn’t get you on the invite list. People who have received invites in the past are ones that I’ve come to know through their interaction here on the site.

The best bet – sign up so I know where you are and join in so I know who you are.

And it should be noted that any invitations are at Saab’s discretion anyway. I can’t make all the decisions.

Cheers.

  1. Funnily enough I’m visiting at least two of the cities on that map in the middle of next month, all the way from here in Oz, but not in the next few days, unfortunately.

  2. As you know, Swade, I put myself on the map in San Antonio, TX when you first offered. Of course, I’m not yet a Saab owner, but with almost 1 year under my belt reading your blog, just about daily, I’ve grown a lusting for the marque (regardless of what mama GM is not doing to support the brand).

BTW, over the years I have noticed a number of manufacturers have done some pre-new model release test drives in the Hill Country, just north of here, with the cooperation of local SA, TX dealers. I don’t think Saab was ever in their number, But, if my MY07 9-3 2.0T 5-speed test drive from last Fall was any indication, I’m up for reporting any Saab-related incidents in the vicinity!

    Thanks in advance… ;-)
