Trollhattan Saab has changed!
The site you're viewing now is the original Trollhattan Saab weblog, though it's now an archive only and no new material is posted here. As of February 2009, all new material is posted at our new site - Saabs United.

My mates at Auto Motor and Sport in Sweden were at Kiruna, just like the rest of the motoring press, and recorded a great video showing the excellent traction qualities of the Saab 9-3 Turbo X driving the ice roads they carved up there.
It’s in Swedish, so only the linguistically flexible will understand it, but the pictures speak many thousands of words.
And memo to Saab, if you ever feel like bringing a blogger from Australia up to the Arctic circle……. I’ve just got to get up there one of these days!

In the AMS Video the journalist ends the clip with “Thanks Saab, no thanks GM for building such a nice four wheel drive car” and then he says that the ultimate testdrive would be the Turbo X against the BMW 335iX.. Yes please!!!!
Overall the journalist was very pleased with the Turbo X
