Saab UK Sales data - February 2008
A brief UK update….
I posted the story of David R’s difficult Turbo X purchase a few weeks ago. I’m pleased to report that in the last few weeks, he’s received some correspondence from Saab GB’s head honcho, as well as a rather nice Turbo X pen and an indication of his all-important delivery date!
Kudos to Saab GB.

Saab sales in the UK took another hit in February.
Saab GB registered 507 vehicles in February, which was a 26.6% hit from the 691 sold in the same month last year.
So far in 2008, there’s been 1,436 registrations in the UK, compared with a rather massive 2,228 for the same period last year. That’s a 35.5% drop year-on-year.
Ouch.

Ouch indeed, but not unexpected really, poor service from main dealers, over priced servicing,a product that has been of poor quality, this and a few more factors. As someone who is passionate about saabs and owner of many saabs for the last 25 years i can only see sales continue to drop, and sadly i now contribute to that figure.I do hope sales improve, but my gut feeling is that they won`t, the damage has already been done.
