Saab 9-X BioHybrid Video

Thanks to Tompa for the link.

Here’s the official video by Lowe Brindfors for the Saab 9-X BioHybrid. A lot of cgi animation, but looks good.

Enjoy.

Very nice, I like this new car.
I don’t remember that bridge being that quiet when I crossed it, :-)

its cgi only.. the shot where its changing lanes is a bit off.. the rest is okay. i like their carpaint shader pretty much.. could’ve been a lot better though.

If this is the design direction for the new 9-1 which has the Aero X theme in it then think what the new 9-5 (which SAAB needs desperitely to stop the hemmoriging) is going to look like. Spy shotas and CGI’s we have seen are only telling half the story. After the 9-XBio my curiosity is peaked.

Btw, has anyone seen a pic or video of boot? There is some nice details described in press kit, but I havent seen any pics yet.

“At the rear, the cargo deck features an electrically-powered slide-out floor, which is activated when the bottom half of the tailgate drops down over the rear bumper. The top section, hinged from the roof, can be opened separately so that smaller items may be dropped inside easily.”

Give me a car that would still look and feel like a Saab if it were unbadged.

Anthony Lo is no Sixten Sason.

i’d love to see a real shot of the car with light piping in the front on, this CGI only give a hint of it.

Not only the Swedes with concepts, see. Good neighbours Norsemen also with some ideas:

Looks not too bad for an EV, no?

I THINK maybe THINK should speak to a non Grandma Duck-car designer like Einar Hariede. Why do they have to make EV´s look silly and all plasticy? The Ox model looks like a Smart ripoff. Me not like.

When it comes to the debate regarding the 9-x BH´s rear end I think there might be som discusions at Citroën forums. For those of you that don´t have Ciroën in you market the C4 Coupé is an unknown vehicle. The World Rally Champ Christian Loeb drives one. When I firs saw it I thought it looked wierd.. But know accually quite cool. But I think the 9-x is awsome!

Think are pioneers in electric cars. They have been designing and producing electric cars since 1991. Now, more than 15 years later, the big global automobile companies also start thinking….

The EV..Didn´t the americans think that up like 1903? But.. The have to get more interested

Yes, there’s been electric cars long before 1991, but there hasn’t been many companies devoted to electric cars. Think is a company with a vision and an environmental conscience. Imagine what Ford, GM, Toyota, etc could have achieved by now if they had been willing to invest in electric cars, hybrid cars etc 15 years ago.
