Red Pink, White and Blue(s)
I’m being tormented further by more pictures of pink Saabs.

He’s beein in Detroit recently and apparently there’s a GM store in the airport there. I didn’t see it as I was in too big a rush to leave (seriously, I was running a little late and got ripped of by my cab driver). Anyway, featured front and center in the GM store was this gorgeous puppy - a white 9-3 convertible.

I think it was ctm who asked for a comparison between the WRC Blue on the Subaru WRX I’m driving at the moment and the Lightning Blue on my Viggen. I was cleaning out the garage today so I thought I’d get the Viggen out onto the street for a quick comparison shot. Much tastier on the Viggen if you ask me, and doesn’t the shape hold up well after all this time, even without the front bodywork…..

It seems like the majority of pink cars out there are the same ugly solid pink we have been seeing on all these saabs. Why are there not more metallic pink cars?
I’ll be in Detroit tomorrow — I’ll take time to look it over!
(Actually, it also depends upon which airline that you are flying — the “old” terminal in Detroit is the pits, and the “new” terminal is the best. So, if you flew out from the older terminal, you wouldn’t have seen the store anyway. Sorry about the cabbie rip off.)
I think I was definitely in the old terminal, unless the old terminal is a cave somewhere…..

Still- yikes. I don’t think I’d ever be rollin’ in pink.
I just walked by that very same store earlier today… and upon seeing the 9-3, I couldn’t help but walk in and take a long.
And yes, it’s in the new terminal, Swade. The old terminal looks like (and was rated as) one of the worst in the country whereas the new one is one of the nicest. But are somewhat extreme in that respect.
Swade, despite the missing front 5-spoke wheel, your LB Viggen looks MUCH more aggressive than the ‘Ru. Nothing beats that bullet shaped 9-3 (IMHO).

Earlier, I never really liked blue cars. But after seeing all these beautiful shots of your car here, I really started to like that blue color. It’s easily the best blue color I have seen on a car. 
How is the WRX anyway Swade? Are you planning a write-up ? Or at least a progress report?
I’m planning a series of entries over the next week, PT. How is it? Well, it’s amazing value for money in terms of performance, but…..
Let me put it this way: We went out and did some filming with it yesterday and had my 900 there as well. I had more fun in the 900. I know that a lot of that is my own bias. Maybe I just prefer old cars? Something with me and Rex just doesn’t click, though, but it’s still extraordinary value for money.
