JL Racing - new website for 2008
The crew over at JL Racing in Canada are excited! The 2008 racing season is fast approaching and it seems like everything is going to be new this year.
Thanks to Saab Sweden they’ll be updating their race vehicles to the new 2008 look. The vehicles themselves are getting stripped, acid dipped and rebuilt with new roll cages in place to strengthen and lighten the cars. And added to all that, they’re also partnering up with Saab Canada to run the first E95 powered race car in the Touring Class of the Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship.
The interface for watchers like you and I has also been improved for 2008, with an all-new JL Racing website.
Chief amongst the new features in the re-development is the race data area, where there will be all sorts of race and driver details, including video and podcasts.
The site’s also got an optimised mobile site for use with cell phones, PDAs and other suitable devices.
The 2008 Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship gets underway in mid-May, just a few months away. JL Racing placed fifth in 2007 and I’ll be providing as much coverage as possible for their tilt in 2008.
Until then, feel free to head on over and check out the new website.

I know I’ve given Saab Canada some grief lately, but I want to publicly express my appreciation and admiration for their support of JL Racing.
Motorsport is one of the key cradles for vehicles development and I’d love to see Saab do more of it.

there’s a Canadian touring car series? Wow.
