It was a good session with fellow Saabers. Agree with Kroum, they should take a field trip to International Motors in Virginia and test drive a 9-3 and look around the lot. Lots of ’08s there. DC is a Saab town, so perhaps street walking will help slightly. I signed up to look at their campaign, and hopefully they’ll continue to rope us in.

Interesting chat sessions overall.

What surprised me the most is that none of them own a Saab, nor have they driven one. Clearly, one of the area’s Saab dealers should step in a give them a car or two for a test drive. It really is somewhat strange to communicate a message about Saab’s values to someone who has never experienced one first-hand.

I had to bail early on, my 1 year 1/2 year starting having a tantrum! The joys of parenthood. I barely got a word in, the comments were fast and furious, GWU got an ear full of Saab love and ideas!

I’d be happy to participate — live in Washington, DC. Have owned four Saabs:

Past:
1997 900 SET
2002 9-5 Aero SC

Present:
1992 900 Turbo convertible
2006 9-3 Aero SC

In between, I’ve owned BMWs (3 and 5 series), and I always come back to Saab.
