Aero-X - get a tall garage…..

Here’s a shot I hadn’t seen in a long time and I’m sure many of you may not have seen it at all.

It’s the Aero-X in a rare moment with the hood up. If only the lens could see around corners. I’d love to know what’s under there once and for all

You know, I’m not sure I’d ever seen a cooler car before this, and I’m quite sure I haven’t seen a cooler car since. This could well be the coolest car of all time.

Pull this and a Bugatti Veyron up at a beach somewhere - which one is going to get more looks? OK, if the Aero-X didn’t have the canopy, maybe the Veyron would because of it’s known capabilities. But it’d be close…..

I hope someone at Saab with the power to make a decision is thinking, even if it’s just in the back of their mind, that this would make one hack of a halo car. It couldn’t be that hard to re-design with conventional doors, could it?

Thanks! Upper pic opens one secret for me. I was wondering if the lights are installed to the hood or on the bodyframe. Hood must be always perfectly aligned to keep the lights correct!

Oh I wish Saab would make Aero X. Just a limited run of few hundred cars. They could use a smaller independend plant for production. But I guess we all know its never going to happen.

Hopefully 9-X BHC is closer to production!

I would love it if they build this car. Again, I keep saying, this could quite easily be Saab’s TT. The TT did wonders for Audi’s reputation.

I honestly don’t want to see Saab make a performance car, or luxury GT of any sort as cool as the Aero X is. They should downsize this, and introduce it as a TT competitor. Now that would be cool.

I think Saab could and should make this car as their performance car. Just think for a second if Saab combined the bio-hybrid engine with battery technology to make a true hybrid super-car. With a twin Turbo V6 getting 400-500hp running on E100 and with XWD. Price it around 55-$60,000 and make a limited amount, this thing would sell like hot cakes…Make it Saab, make it, make it!!

And like the TT helping Audi’s reputation, the car would attract people to the Saab name, which would sell more cars…right around the time of the fairluy new 9-5 and when the new new 9-3 will be out. They could put good money into engineering the new 9-3 and have it pay off because people will look at Saab more.

Moe my friend… The car you are speaking of. a downsized AeroX as a TT competitor…. Well that is the 9-X BHC isn´t it? And it IS wonderful!!:) Build THAT car instead!!!
