9-5 named one of Forbes Best Luxury Car Buys
Once again, Forbes makes the blog.
With Swade, Forbes isn’t such a favorite. After all, who can forget this moment of Zen. Swade’s had less vitriol to spew about auto enthusiast insurance companies and the Cadillac BLS.
But, today, I’m happy to report, Forbes has written about one of our own in a positive light.
Forbes has named the Saab 9-5 as one of the best buys in luxury automobiles. Citing the relatively low initial cost and reduced annual repair costs, Forbes placed the 9-5 at number eight on its list of top twenty.
Once again, Saab’s capable seating engineers get their propers:
The Saab 9-5 is an often-overlooked sporty luxury sedan that offers a lot of luxury for the buck–especially in terms of seating comfort inside: Firm, leather-upholstered sport seats are standard, and ventilated ones are optional.
Congratulations, Saab 9-5!

The dealership let us take a 9-5 out to grab some lunch and run some errands while my 9-3 was in the shop. It was a great car. I wish the dash and the in between seats was cleaned up a little bit. But the latest refresh is nice and it drove ever so nicely.
Still an amazing car after ten years of production! Mine has 229k on it, original everything and never ceases to amaze me. Shame I’m in a position where it needs to be replaced by a 9-3SS for business purposes.
the 95 needs an over haul im sick of looking at it and so are the customers it needs a v8 to compete in todays market
