Gripen - The Swedes are smarted than us and know not to pay extra for it when they don't need it.

...Well...then again, if they were really smarter than us, they'd all drive
Saabs :p

I find it funny that I find ovloV XC70 vehicles all over sunny Southern California, but the V70 is the best-selling car in snowy Sweden. It makes one wonder if AWD is really necessary. 8)

Regarding the BLS and flex-fuel, I believe what makes the Saab BioPower so great is the turbocharger (which the BLS doesn't have, does it?), the direct-ignition, and the Trionic system. Does the BLS have these components so it can be made "BioPower"?

I looked at this page now, and can't find any reference to FlexPower or E85:

http://www.cadillaceurope.com/index.aspx?FilterID=2091&ChapterID=8850

In a press release from November, it just said that the BLS will get an E85 engine. So probably not available yet. But when it is, boy, are the sales figures gonna skyrocket or what! ;)

Didn't noticed this at first. Last year, Saabs market share in Sweden was about 8%. This year it's almost 11%. ;)

Oh, and Swades favorite:
93: Cadillac BLS
Jan: 28 vehicles, -35%
