Dutch Top Gear offer their version of the 9-1
Aaaah. All the CGIs are coming out of the woodwork now.
Wim has emailed me to let me know that the Dutch version of Top Gear have published their own story on the Saab compact….and yes it’s got an image included.
I’ve snipped a little of it here, but click through for the full image.
My 0.02c - I’m liking the rear of the car, but the front is just a little too Mauer-retro for me to believe that it’ll happen.

Funny to look at the (dull) reality of the 9-4x against the more innovative cgi’s on that site!
It’s pretty interesting to look at all the concepts. Thankfully the Saabaru 9-6x is no more!

I actually like this quite a bit. I think if it were going to go next to an A3, this would be the winner.

I’m not a fan of the headlight treatment or the humps over the wheel openings.
If the production version comes out to look more like the 9-3 sedan & sportcombi front end (on GMI’s RIA) Id be more inclined to endorse it.
They did a great job with the CGI’s though.
