Saab Pride - Yeovil Style!

Another entrant in the Saab Pride of Ownership competition has made it’s way to centre stage. It’s time for Saab-lovin, Yeovil Style. Thanks, as always, to Elkparts for the support.

Robin M is the unofficial ambassador for Saab in the UK, a title I conferred upon him after his 251st Saab sale referral earlier this year. OK, I’m exaggerating, but it seems that many who have the pleasure of knowing him and riding in his excellent Saab 9-5 SportCombi end up considering a Saab in their vehicle purchasing.

Pics aren’t enlargeable right now. I’ll attend to that later.

Most of the local points of interest in the Yeovil area are for walkers only so we decided to go to a local country park called “Ham Hill”.

It is an area of land which stands higher than the local landscape. As you walk around the whole perimeter you can see for miles in any direction and on good clear days as far as the eye will let you. There are car parks there so it is possible to park on the edge, lots of walks and a great pub too. We even saw a couple of deer up there today. Many houses in the area are made from the stone which has been quarried from the hill.

I’ve enclosed a Google earth map which might help, Yeovil is to the right.

England just seems to have the most alluring countryside in the world. Great pics.

vector220, it was not until I opened the door and nearly fell out that I realised how close it was too.
And Joe, I’ll let you borrow him when you visit Yeovil this year. Funny saying “this year”, just a couple of days ago you said it would be next year that you visited…..
Thank you Ted. Love being in England but also love seeing the Swiss and Swedish countryside especially when it has snowed.
