Saab Pride - Swedish-Belgian style
It’s time for yet another Saab Pride of Ownership competition entry. The competition’s going to have one heck of a weekend, I tell ya. Big ups to my homeboys at Elkparts!

Today’s POO entry is from my mate Tim R, originating from Trollhattan itself but currently all over the darn place flying and training people to fly. I featured Tim’s car, and that of his girlfriend Johanna, during te postings from Sweden at the Saab festival (remember the matching coolants?).

Here’s my photo. It’s taken at Belgocontrol, at Brussels International Airport, inside the gates at their magnificent Air Traffic Control Tower. This tower has been voted the most beautiful ATC Tower in Europe many times so I thought it would be appropriate to take a photo of a really good looking car standing next to it.
This ATC Tower is also a form of a Landmark in Brussels, it was built in the 90’s with the rest of the Belgocontrol complex which is responsible for all the air traffic in larger parts of Belgium and Holland, built shortly afterwards. What surprised me a lot when I came to Brussels and BelgoControl was that there were a lot SAAB’s there. You can easily tell that there is something kind of relation between people working in aviation and SAAB cars.

Hehe, actually they just came to an agreement on the pay today apparently. They need pilots here as a lot of maltese pilots are working for other companies like emirates. http://www.timesofmalta.com/articles/view/20080103/local/pilots-deal-expected-today i’ll take johanna’s car in that case, malta is a small island, she car ride with you

I wish I did have it fixed, mate. Just sitting in the garage while I argue with the insurance company, unfortunately. I look at it every weekend and almost cry.
