Trollhattan Saab has changed!
The site you're viewing now is the original Trollhattan Saab weblog, though it's now an archive only and no new material is posted here. As of February 2009, all new material is posted at our new site - Saabs United.

Eggs n Grits recently posted a request for any photos of the Saab (Lancia) 600 – a very rare Saab, which some would say is a good thing.
Little knowledge has been retained about this car and only the barest facts remain on the interwebs along with the same old standard photos. It appeared as if all the Saab 600s had been lost over the years, along with any archival information.
It seems all is not yet lost, however, with Jacco drawing my attention to a Saab 600 for sale in Sweden. It’s being sold at Blocket.se and if the “2800″ next to “pris” refers to a price of 2800skr then this is a bargain in anyone’s language.
Unfortunately the photo’s an absolute shocker, so we can learn little more about the car from this than what we already know, but it’s just nice to know that there’s still one out there. Perhaps it’ll fall into friendly hands.

Was this part of a badge enginerring deal between Saab and Lancia?
Maybe then their are Saabs badged as Lancias?

Dan: Yes, this is a badge engineering deal between Saab and Lancia. However, the Saab badged as a Lancia was the car jointly developed by the two companies, the Saab 9000 and Lancia Thema. So similar that many body panels are interchangable.
