Pop culture - Saab style (or…litmus test for knowing that you’re getting older)

From Ronald, in the US, who has inspired us here once before - 64 comments is quite some inspiration.

I’m a teen. I love pop. culture.

Some rap is great, others, just down right awful. I [like everyone else at TS] love Saab, but what happens when pop culture and saab collide?

Perhaps we have a new phenomenon on our hands?

All I could think upon watching these was boy, am I ever getting old! I watched the first one for 1.5 minutes thinking WTF? and then at around 2 minutes I had to laugh.

You know, when the D.I. cassette fails on your NG900 it would probably be better to help the person pushing your car rather than dancing on/around it. Just MHO.

I guess Saab’s Roadside Assistance program has really lost something in the quality department. ;-)

I never thought it was possible to do Ray Parker, Jr’s Ghostbusters song an injustice. Boy, was I wrong. :-P

its called “ghost riding” the most dumbest thing i have seen in my life. someone is gonna get killed by doing this, also it just shows that these kids have nothing better to do than put cars in drive and jump around them like idiots.

haha. i dont know how i found it. but i couldnt stop watching it over and over.

ghost riding, in all honestly, is quite dangerous and dumb. i really dont get it.

but it made me wonder what would happen if the car goes down a hill and ur in front of it.

thats right, you’ll get ran over by your own car. what a story to tell the doctor when you are in excruciating pain.

      thanks swade for posting :)

it’s like what einstein said….there are only 2 things that are infinite–the universe and stupidity–and he wasn’t sure of the part about the universe….

Yeah, you’re not getting old, that was pretty horrendous. Maybe if they were better dancers?

Speaking of rap, I’m surprised that no one has mentioned the classic “Sobb Story” from the Leaders of the New School. Watch this video and you’ll see a nice looking Saab at about the 3:05 point:
