Saab Media scores a bagfull of articles

If you haven’t checked out Saab Media yet, then why not?

Wulf is running a very elegant site over there and what’s more, it’s going to expand by the bucketload shortly.

Remember the biggest archive of Saab scans I’ve ever seen? I posted that article a month or so ago and Wulf has recently received a DVD of the articles from the archivist and permission to host them in a more organised fashion - something that sorely needed to be done.

Great pickup, Wulf! I’ll look forward to checking this stuff out as it comes online.

I have to say that my first impression of Saab Media Net is that of one of those pages that contains a list of links when you mispell a URL.

For example when you spell neweggs.com but mean newegg.com

The new scans have only been uploaded on the website for a few hours and Swade is already on it. At least some one out there is watching the What’s New page. :)

I have been pretty slow with updates and new material to the site in the last few months. One reason is that I moved back to my home in northern Michigan and I only have 56K dialup available. Definitely not good for running a site with lots and lots of images. Second is that I have been having problems with my Macbook Pro upgrade to Leopard. For some reason, my website host and dialup do not like each other so I have to go to the public library to add new stuff. Did I mention I live in the boonies and the nearest city and public broadband is 45 minutes away?

I am also quite busy trying to find work since July which is not easy with the current economy in Michigan. While running SaabMedia is a lot of fun, it doesn’t pay the bills (yet). Well, I made $0.55 with advertising last week but who’s counting ;)

To make a long story short, updates are coming but will still be slow. All new stuff will be posted on the What’s New (RSS) page if you’re interested.

I never want to attract attention to SaabMedia by posting here on TS but I thought this was a good opportunity to let the readers know what’s going on with the site.
