EnG Saab Shopping - The Agony of Defeat

Well.

I’m.

So.

Deflated.

In the last post in a comment I indicated that there was a new lead on a great car.

Unfortunately, I had no idea that at that very moment, the car had already been sold. The small specialty dealer was in the process of selling it to one customer as I was speaking to another person there.

This was it:

2000 Saab 9-3 Viggen - 1 Owner - Luxury And Performance - $7900

We are excited to offer this 1 owner 2000 Saab 9-3 Viggen finished in silver over black leather with 109K miles and a 5 speed transmission. Saab enthusiasts will recognize the Viggen as a model combining luxury and performance while still offering good economy. Swedish quality at a very affordable price! We have done a basic service and state safety inspection. All power equipment is in working order with a strong engine, clutch, and transmission. Super clean car inside and out. Carfax shows no accidents and is available for your inspection.

Viggen that I missed

I’m going to go cook dinner. That’s all that I can say.

My condolences, Eggs. A Vig’ would be a great addition indeed.

But to the patient come the best offers. There’ll always be something else out there. :)

Sorry to hear that, EG. There’ll be another Viggen in your omelette one day ….

you ought to keep an eye on the saab link classifieds. quite a few viggens have come up lately, though probably not at that price.

that Viggen actually showed up on my radar as i my subaru faced a posible terminal problem this morning. shame on me for being so quick to shop, the ‘ru only needed an ignition coil assembly (or something like that).

happy shopping EG - there are more Viggens out there!

Swade, you shouldn’t call Eggs Eggman…because he’ll be accosted by hedgehogs.

Anyway…that car is pretty much a color and a transmission away from my ultimate Saab dream. Sucks hard, Eggs. Keep on trying.
