Saab O The Week - Sept 25
You gotta love this….
It’s a Saab 95 converted into a ute - that’s Aussie for pickup. I’m diggin that funky paint job. This must be the perfect retro service vehicle for a Saaber. I recall a Saab mechanic in Melbourne, here in Australia, who had a 95 wagon as his service vehicle as well.
I don’t know who owns it, but I picked up the photo from Flickr - more details below.

As mentioned, this photo was sourced from Flickr. It belongs to a set of photos taken at the Intsaab gathering in Sweden in 2006.
For those of you that might be interested, Intsaab will be on again in August 2008 and is being held in Latvia.
The Intsaab 2008 website is here so if you’re interested in a trip to Latvia, check it out.

Interesting. If you look closely at the tailgate you’ll see one of those stickers of Calvin (of “Calvin and Hobbes”) peeing on a GM logo.
Wonderful!
Love this stuff. I’ve always liked the car/pickup hybrid.
I think it was for sale. It’s a bit hard to tell from the photo, but it’s a bullnose but has a V4 engine. Also notice the Ronal “Silver Spoke” rims from SAAB 99.
As a prior ute owner I like this more and more.
I hate those Calvin stickers. They’re disgusting, and not because Calvin is peeing on something.
