Advertising cars is such a tricky business. What works in one market won’t necessarily work in another, and mediawatchers like me get all cranky at the discrepancies - mostly because Saabs are so bleedin good that they shouldn’t even need ads!!

But the ads are fun, nonetheless. When they’re really good they definitely tell a story you can relate to as a Saab owner.

CAR Magazine in the UK have a page today where they go through their favourite car ads. As they mention it’s by no means a definitive list and I have a feeling that it’s been governed by whatever ads they could find on YouTube, but Saab’s in it and that’s what matters.
