It’s time for another tasty Saab O The Week entry, and this week it’s another motion shot from the lens of Paul H in Sydney, Australia. He also brought us the c900 motion shot that’s still the desktop wallpaper on my Mac.
This image is of Brendan B’s 1974 Saab 99 EMS. Brendan was one of the Aussie touring party in Trollhattan in June of this year. He’s a bit of a 99 nut, owning not only this little beaty, but also a black 99 Turbo. In addition to looking after that nice little garage-full, he also runs the Australian Saab 99 register.
I frequently get 99-fever and this pic’s got me sweating all over again. I’m actually starting to form plans for a TS-restoration project in 2008 – and a 99 is in my sights.
Enjoy the pic, and thanks, Paul.

Richo. No. :>)
It was at the back of some crummy half built industrial estate up on the Central Coast where we stopped for photos on an ECCA cruise. Brendan was the only Saab in a sea of Beemers. I can’t whinge about the Beemers as one of them was mine.
I think this is the link to the photos

Hi Swade,
Sorry for using this post, but have you checked out the International Saab website, they have just added incredible flash regarding the new 9-3s, with vids and such. Also the UrSaab 1/43 is now available thru their Saab Expressions.
Later, Nicolaas
ps, my parents used to have a white 99 (early 80s) in Holland. I remember climbing out of the window once, Dukes of Hazard style. My dad wasn’t to happy, because I cracked the rust underneath the window leaving a big hole. Rust doesn’t seem to be a problem anymore.
