It’s good to see plenty of coverage in the MSM about the 9-3 Convertible’s latest crash test news.
It has been all over the place, from Consumer Reports (gotta get them on side) to Edmunds and all points in between.

Whilst I was travelling and getting over travelling, Saab put out a press release announcing Erik Carlsson’s top 6 – one car from each decade in Saab’s 60 years so far.
Ryan’s got the full press release with Carlsson’s thoughts here, but here’s the list in point form:
From the 1950′s – Saab 92
From the 1960s – Saab 96
From the 1970s – Saab 99 Turbo
From the 1980s – Saab 900 Convertible
From the 1990s – Saab 9000 Aero
From the 2000s – Saab Aero-X

Saaboy: The Viggen was up against the AeroX — pretty tough one to beat.
Saab convertibles rule!
And MY car made Mr. Carlsson’s list. I’m feeling pretty superior right now.
Yet another snippet:
Steve Shannon has gotten swade’s message as reported in the Boston Globe:
“A blogger, I think he was from Tasmania, immediately made a post on behalf of Saab owners,” Shannon said. “The gist was, ‘You’re working for us now, and you better take care of our baby.’ ”
