A big find by Jacob, left in comments to Haldex story below.

Haldex refer to their 4th generation system on their website as “XWD” as opposed to the more common AWD terminology used on full time four wheel drive systems.

Jacob did a little digging and found some trademark info on “XWD” and guess who holds it?
