9-3 Trim Query
A regular at this site, Kaz, is pondering a venture to make some customised bits for the Saab 9-3 range.
At this point he’s thinking of bespoke mirror casings and rear spoilers in either a chrome or carbon-fibre effect. If some interest is piqued, he’ll think about moving on to some more complex stuff like spoilers etc
The images below are some renderings of what he’s thinking of, showing the chrome effect mirrors and rear spoiler on a 9-3 Convertible. I’m sure he’d appreciate your thoughts in comments and if you like, I can put people in touch with him.

Prices are yet to be confirmed, as I am finalising the Chrome Plating company to use for this, but should hopefully be able to get prices within the next week or two.
If it kicks off, then I will expand into bespoke styling modifications such as front air dams, rear wings and light surrounds. Nothing boy-racerish of course.
Why should Audi be the only exec car company that offer Chrome wing mirrors
no offense, but the chrome is ‘ricey.’ the mirrors would be ok, but i guess it just doesn’t look good on that color car. Silver or black colored car and i think you’d have a winner. Spoiler looks good, but should be painted the color of the car, definently not chrome.
Yeah, it would look best on black or silver, remember, these are just image mock ups.
I’m going to have a set made soon and attach them to my current Titan Grey Aero V6 SS, but haven’t got a timeline on that yet.
The spoiler itself will be the standard Aero lip spoiler, but electroplated in either a Chrome finish or a carbon fibre print.
Same with the wing mirrors, either electroplated chrome, or printed carbon fibre.
Just want to gauge to see if there is an interest.
I like the color of the car, but have to agree with logan that the chrome doesn’t do anything for me. Could you show it on a different color car next time? And perhaps on a hard top?
To be honest, I’d love to see a real pic of the chrome mirrors once they are fitted on your SS. I always liked those chrome Audi mirrors!
