Trollhattan Saab has changed!
The site you're viewing now is the original Trollhattan Saab weblog, though it's now an archive only and no new material is posted here. As of February 2009, all new material is posted at our new site - Saabs United.

There’s an increasing number of Saab-related videos appearing on Google Video.

I’ve gotta say though, that the best of them are coming from Ryan, curator of Saabvideos.com. Here’s another one from his collection. It’s a 16 minute short film on the history of Saab, right back to the aircraft days and up to the 900.

Great viewing for the enthusiast and some pretty funny bits in there too (love that early animation!!).

p.s. I’d be interested to know if any IE users have trouble with this. I can view it fine in Firefox, but have trouble with IE.

I dig it! Especially the groovy music. No troubles with Internet Explorer here (version 6).

Works fine with every web browser on Mac OS X, including IE 5 (don’t think anybody uses IE though, since it is officially dead and not updated for years).

The animation in the beginning looks to me like it came right out of a Monty Python’s Flying Circus episode. I kept waiting for a giant boot to come out of the sky and squash the car! Ha! But, did love the video, thanks for sharing!

Sweet video. It’s so strange to see an old 900 like that without rust holes the size of Texas.

No viewing problems obvisouly. I’m using some weekly of opera from like three or four weeks ago.
