NYIAS retrospective
Some of you will remember that just prior to the New York International Auto Show, I asked for questions to be fielded to the various Saab representatives there. It’s unfortunate that the main people we needed to ask questions of weren’t available at the time that JimF, Trollhattan Saab’s trusty media-day delegate, was present on the floor.
Jim was able to get some questions answered and tried to get others via email, but to no avail. Most of the issues we asked about such as the Aero-X, diesel and the hybrid cover-up issue have been resolved in recent weeks anyway.
With that out of the way, it’s time to pore over these photos as taken by Jim at the show. Fantastic stuff. A few here below and then a bunch more after the jump. The Aero-X is of course a feature, but there’s some other great stuff there too.
Thanks Jim!!

The display area seems to have been pretty substantial this year.
——
The new 9-5 was there….
——
….as was the 20th Anniversary Edition Convertible….
——
The Sonett and an old-school ‘vert served up some history….
——
The Sonett was there to celebrate Saab’s 50th anniverary in the United States
——
But the star of the show, as in Geneva, was the Aero-X. Feast your eyes on these babies and learn all over again why this design is just so damn sexy!
