Trollhattan Saab has changed!
The site you're viewing now is the original Trollhattan Saab weblog, though it's now an archive only and no new material is posted here. As of February 2009, all new material is posted at our new site - Saabs United.
Please join us at Saabs United and get your daily Saab fix from Saab sources all around the world.
It’s a few days late, but I’m very pleased to release the first of Trollhattan Saab’s desktop calendar pages – January 2006.
These desktop calendars will be based around YOUR photos, sent in for the Saab O The Week section of this weblog. That’s the beauty of this exercise, it ain’t professional photography (as far as I know of, anyway), it’s readers just like you that have taken a bloody good shot of their Saab and given me permission to publish it here.
These photos get shown on the Saab O The Week entry, and the best of them will be featured as a SOTW desktop calendar piece. This month we have Tim’s Viggen, photographed mid 2004 during the Swedish summer. It’s 11pm or thereabouts and the sun’s trying really hard to get below the horizon. Congratulations Tim, on a brilliant photo.
To save the photo, click on the relevant link below and then save the picture to your hard drive and do whatever it is you normally do to load it to your desktop. As this is the first time I’ve done this, please let me know in comments if there are any glitches. Feel free to pass the word around, too. Some of these shots are absolutely first rate and should be recognised as such.
