		<description>Would it have really cost GM that much to put curtain airbags in the 9-5?  It&#039;s a horrid omission for Saab in an otherwise great car. Had they given that and one or two safety innovations (which Saab&#039;s flagship deserves), it might motivate some of us with ageing 9-5s to think about an upgrade to the new version.  Without substantially improved safety, I like mine very well. At 5½ years/77,000 miles it&#039;s barely an adolescent anyhow.</description>
